After nearly a decade as a CEO, Joel understands the weight behind that decision. Joel began his career as a mental health Occupational Therapist in high-secure forensic settings and early psychosis services before building and leading a national mental health organisation for almost ten years. Joel doesn't see leadership appointments as isolated hires. Performance, culture, governance, and transition operate as one system. A senior People leader influences all of it. His clinical training informs how he assesses resilience, judgement under pressure, and the invisible dynamics inside executive teams.
